The Essence of HDK

HoloDynamic Kinesiology is a truly holistic approach to personal transformation. It is a method of literally asking the Innate Intelligence of the body what it wants. HoloDynamic Kinesiology is so named because it is consistent with Pribram and Bohm’s holographic paradigm and the principles of dynamical systems theory. HDK evolved from Goodheart’s Applied Kinesiology techniques and Beardall’s Clinical Kinesiology bio-computer model. It addresses the needs of the patient in the moment, whether those needs involve a radical shift in life purpose or the treatment of a sore foot.

Kinesiology is a tool that can be used in many ways. Many forms of kinesiology ask the body about specific symptoms, conditions, or “points of reference” (regions of the body). In HDK, it is not the doctor who decides what to ask the body. Instead, the patient’s entire body decides what it needs as a whole. In HDK, it is the Innate Intelligence of the body that determines where to start, what to do after that, and when to stop. The inherent priority system of the body is fully respected. No aspect of treatment is left up to the bias of the doctor. The Innate Intelligence of the patient is in full control at all times.

In HDK, a holodynamic “entry” procedure is used to link the doctor and patient energetically as well as to entrain the patient’s nervous system to “display” its needs in a prioritized order as specific energetic waveforms in its electromagnetic field. It is the flexibility of this procedure that eliminates the error normally due to the gender specific polarization, hemispheric lateralization, and interpersonal disparity inherent in the usual kinesiological relationship.

Doctor/patient roles are defined energetically to prevent inadvertent access of the doctor’s own aberrant wave patterns. The doctor surrenders all preconceived ideas about what the patient might need, and the patient reclaims control of the therapeutic interaction. Once a joint energetic system has been created via a common linking frequency, a bi-directional information loop is established, and the doctor is free to access whatever is on display in the patient’s nervous system or electromagnetic field. This is done by placing known vibrational energies within the field of the patient and manually checking for changes in muscular response. It is postulated that resonance between similar energetic fields produces a harmonic wave addition that triggers a response in the nervous system. This translates into a change in muscular response. In this way, the human organism can, and does, ask the doctor for what it wants.

The Innate Intelligence of the patient asks for whatever it needs (through the body) in order for the body to cope more effectively with its environment (both internal and external). It can even ask for the environment to be changed. It requests structural, chemical, and electromagnetic corrections as needed. Specific foods are sometimes eliminated temporarily from the diet. Herbal, homeopathic, nutritional, and enzymatic treatments are frequently requested. Energetic corrections (like those of Traditional Chinese Medicine) can also be involved.  Emotional blockages are almost universally found beneath the surface of long-standing problems. Many of the treatments required by the body/mind/spirit of the patient are consistent with those that would have been applied by practitioners of statistical Allopathic or alternative medicine, but many more are not.

Anyone who knows that the solutions they are seeking are already within them are ready for HDK. People with chronic or acute conditions respond equally well to this type of individually tailored therapy, as do people who have no symptoms at all. Treatments of this nature are entirely natural. The body just doesn’t ask for anything that is not compatible with the optimal functioning of the whole organism. Drugs, surgery, or other radical measures are only requested when the system is so severely compromised that safer methods will not be sufficient to insure its integrity. These cases are promptly referred to the appropriate health care professionals.

Doctors who want to go beyond “fixing problems” are drawn to HDK. Because of the holistic nature of HDK, it is taught only to doctors who are licensed to diagnose and treat diseases of the entire body (DC’s, DO’s, or MD’s). Structural adjustments are consistently required, so instruction in HoloDynamic Kinesiology is also limited to those licensed to give structural adjustments. This insures that nothing the body asks for will be left out of sequence due to the practitioner’s inability to perform a specific procedure, as any omission would violate the holism of the treatment and possibly produce harm to the patient.

HDK is taught only through residential apprenticeships with master teachers of The Order.  Doctors who display an understanding of systems theory and a high level of mastery in Applied and Clinical Kinesiology may qualify for residencies, but these are by invitation only and are rarely available. A recent development, however, is placing holodynamic training within reach of other practitioners as well. A new method of using and teaching holodynamic principles, taught as “Extreme Kinesiology” or “XK”, is making it possible for anyone to learn a form of holodynamic kinesiology.

Extreme Kinesiology employs a new way of creating a holodynamic entry that tailors treatments to the skills of the practitioner as well as the needs of the patient. XK safeguards the holism of the treatment by essentially asking the body, “What can this practitioner do for you at this moment?” XK takes much less time to learn than traditional HDK. XK is taught in intensive small group workshops and enables practitioners of all types to holodynamically access the wisdom of the body in relation to the knowledge they already possess.
