APPLIED KINESIOLOGY
To
benefit our patients to the most, we must be able to evaluate everything that may
be contributing to their problems. No
technique allows us a more complete “look” at all the different functions in
the body than does Applied Kinesiology (AK).
These following factors are evaluated for during our initial patient
evaluations:
Spinal
subluxations and subluxations of extremities are felt as neck, back or other
joint/muscle pain and/or muscle spasm.
Many joint problems are showing to begin with underlying muscle weakness
and imbalance that predisposes the area to joint problems. To most effectively correct these problems,
we must first find the affected weak muscles, and then determine why the
muscles are weak. There are three
primary causes of muscle weakness and imbalance that are seen using Applied
Kinesiology. Everything in the body
(chemical, mechanical, emotional) affects the musculoskeletal system of the
body. Muscle weakness and imbalance is
showing responsibility for much of the chronic back, neck and other joint
problems through relationships between the organs and the spine.
We
therefore need to identify and treat organ weaknesses in order to most
effectively improve our patient symptoms and to restore health. Subclinical
organ weakness is usually not detectable with standard medical lab testing,
because this is a relatively early loss of reserve energy of the organ
system. These organ system weaknesses
develop because of genetic predisposition, and are triggered when improper
diet, environmental toxicities, and food allergies reduce health. We exist in an increasingly nutritional
deficiency state throughout our lives, and are therefore in the downward
tailspin of health called advanced aging.
The organs continue their decline in health toward increasing
dysfunction and eventually to an actual “
Vast
amounts of research from the major Medical laboratories and universities have
been performed on vitamins, minerals, and herbal formulas in their relation to
organ function, now giving us many natural products that have shown to most
efficiently and effectively restore organ health. Applied Kinesiology testing procedures enable us to find specific
nutritional formulas to restore the loss of reserve energy of organ function
for patient’s changing, dynamic, individual needs. Many people are trying to improve their health, but all too often
are guessing poorly at which formulas will benefit their needs. With the manual
muscle testing procedures of Applied Kinesiology, we are able to monitor the
body’s specific needs and change nutritional supplement recommendations, as the
body’s needs change. This allows us to
optimize treatment with the most efficient use of the nutritional substances.
Food and
environmental allergies have been implicated in a wide range of medical
conditions affecting virtually every part of the body. Symptoms from food allergies range from
mildly uncomfortable symptoms such as indigestion and gastritis, to severe
illnesses such as the irritable bowel syndromes, arthritis, and chronic
infection. Allergies have also been
directly linked to serious disorders of the nervous system including
depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, and many others. Many allergy tests are very expensive and
are often unreliable. Skin scratch and
most other medical lab tests look only at the IgE response and overlook the IgG
allergy response that includes the majority of food reactions that plague our
health. If lab testing procedures are
desired we strongly recommend a combination of the IgE/IgG testing profile
which will pick up both immediate and delayed sensitivities. Applied Kinesiology muscle testing
techniques for food allergies is showing very high accuracy, is very
inexpensive and is non-invasive; making it an ideal tool for evaluating food
allergies.
Because there may be so many factors
influencing a person’s health, we must have a system to evaluate the big
picture of what is happening in a person’s body. When a person presents with back or neck pain, or other symptoms;
is the problem strictly isolated to the primary area of complaint, or are there
other factors playing into the picture?
Applied Kinesiology (AK.) is a very special and unique tool
that helps us put the pieces of the puzzle together to determine what factors
are playing a part in our patient’s problems.
We cannot fix what we cannot find in the enormously complex biochemical
machines that we call our bodies. We
must learn to work with and support the body’s natural powers of healing before
we are to make actual improvements in its health.
The
body has the ability from its God-given design to heal, if it has proper
communication and directions, and the nutritional substances to do the
job. AK. gives us the ability to
process the various functions of the body literally from the top of the head to
the bottom of the feet; to find out as much as possible what we can do to best
help a person’s body restore it’s health.
These factors are then used to develop a strategy of treatment to help
the body maximize health.
